Our in-person Sunday worship services resumed on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
We are following all the Healthy Church protocols put in place by the Virginia Annual Conference. Masks must be worn from the time you exit your car prior to the service, till you return to your car after the service. Social distancing must be observed at all times.
Please e-mail the church office (firstname.lastname@example.org) each week to let us know if you plan to attend in-person worship so we can continue to follow the capacity and safe-distancing guidelines. A greeter will meet you at the door to verify your health acknowledgement, and there will be ushers in the sanctuary to direct you to an available pew. You may enter at the back door as well.
The protocols do not allow indoor singing at this time. The hymns will be pre-recorded and played through the sound system, but you may hum along! The children will be invited to the front for children’s time, and will remain in the sanctuary for the remainder of the service. Offering plates will be placed on the pews nearest each door, but you are encouraged to continue using the mail or direct deposit method. At the conclusion of a service, please exit beginning with the back rows, keeping in mind social distancing, without gathering in the aisles. Thank you for helping us make the return to in-person worship a success!d
